Apotek 57 – I've seen photos of the space in many digital publications and interior blogs that I follow. A small eatery within the Frama Studio Store serving seasonal breakfast and lunch, baked goods, and coffee – opened and run by Chiara Barla in 2020 with the invitation to join forces by founder and Creative Director Niels Strøyer Christophersen of Frama Studio. I was determined to arrive early to have breakfast here. To my surprise, I met Neils at the cafe entrance. You can read more about our encounter here.
My breakfast was simple – I ordered a sesame sourdough that comes with slices of cheeses and a black coffee with cream. My breakfast was served to me in Frama's Otto plates, which I managed to grab one last set from the store and brought it home with me to New York City.
A thoughtful selection of ceramics carried by Frama was displayed on the shelves. I looked around the space – the cafe utilizes all Frama furniture, from dining tables, chairs, and lighting to tableware, glassware, cutlery, and apothecary – soaps.
